More offenses are committed in society as the crime rate rises, which is a sign that safety of deteriorating. The purpose this research to examine how Gini ratio, per capita income, unemployment, poverty, and population density affect number crimes Indonesia between 2012 2020 34 Indonesian provinces, used secondary data from years until 2020. Multiple linear regression using panel approach study methodology. study's findings demonstrate fixed effect most effective. Unemployment had positive significant impact on amount crimes, according partial testing, while overcrowding internet access negative impact. In 2020, poverty did not crime, also found unemployment crimes. Overcrowding According study, it hoped government will establish learning facilities put an emphasis developing skills, offer counseling regarding family planning initiatives, create fair digital infrastructure raise standard access.
